Actuators connect the component industry with complete robots
ROBOTIS builds DYNAMIXEL actuators and also presents manipulators, hands, service robots and humanoid-development platforms. These are different levels of a robotics supply chain. A motor or integrated joint can be used in many machines without making its supplier the manufacturer of each complete robot.
Its current catalogue connects actuation with imitation learning and reinforcement-learning applications through platforms such as AI Sapiens and AI Worker. This illustrates how established component work can support newer robot-learning systems. A development platform is still separate from a proven production workflow.
Questions worth asking
For an actuator, compare continuous torque, thermal limits and the interface rather than peak torque alone. For a complete platform, check how much software and calibration work remains with the customer. Establish which data and control interfaces are available before planning a learning experiment.
This page contains 17 directory records connected to South Korea. It is a selection, not a ranking or a count of the country’s entire robotics industry. Founders and financial research are still incomplete for some profiles. Existing source dates are preserved.
Revenue measures sales over a reporting period. Funding is capital raised. A valuation belongs to a dated transaction or market measurement. Contract values, acquisition prices and production targets are labelled separately. Parent-company results are not attributed to a robotics subsidiary.
Company sources document what a supplier says or reports. They do not turn product claims into independent tests. The project questions are editorial evaluation criteria rather than reported results.

The official AEI site lists ALICE robot products. Indexed primary material was found, but direct page access returned HTTP 403 during this review. No delivery scale or industrial reliability claim is added.
Secondary source record. Current programme status needs primary-source confirmation.
Company identity and current programme unconfirmed
This secondary-source entry may overlap with AEI Robot, which uses the ALICE name. The identity and a separate humanoid programme have not been established here. Do not count this card as evidence of an additional confirmed manufacturer.
