Evidence reviewReviewed 2026-09-30

Use the H1 specification sheet as a starting point, then separate platform limits from demonstration claims

The H1 page is most useful when readers can distinguish published hardware specifications from motions shown in selected videos. For a lab or buyer, the practical checklist is height and mass, joint configuration, actuator limits, onboard compute, sensing, battery operation, development interfaces, payload assumptions and the exact control mode used in each demonstration.

Technical context

  • Unitree publishes H1 as a full-size humanoid platform and provides product specifications on its official site.
  • A locomotion or manipulation clip does not by itself reveal teleoperation, policy inputs, reset conditions or the number of failed trials.
  • Comparisons should use the same task and measurement method before treating speed, balance or manipulation quality as a platform advantage.

What the available evidence does not prove

  • Published peak values do not describe continuous operation under every thermal, battery or payload condition.
  • A research platform specification does not establish factory uptime, service coverage or a production acceptance rate.
